The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Richmond Metropolitan Area Chapter’s mission is to advocate on behalf of women and girls of color through national and local actions and strategic alliances that promote leadership development, gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.


Women and girls of color reside in a world in which gender equity, inclusion, respect, racial and social justice, integrity, accountability, economic empowerment are accentuating and socio-economic inequity are nonexistent.  



To advocate and lobby for a brighter future for all women and girls of African descents. Foster principles of equal rights and opportunities. Promote awareness of the African American culture. Develop the potential of the membership for effective leadership and participation in civic affairs. Take action on specific issues of national and international importance and cooperate with other persons and organizations to achieve mutual goals.
